After a few restarts Spotify began to open fine. All did except for Spotify, Numbers, Pages and KeyNote. I then attempted to open other apps to test which would open. When it launched Spotify launched at login and also crashed. Got the internet working and launched Numbers. I forced quit and relaunched Numbers but every time I attempted to open the file it locked up (because it was offline.) I finally realized the issue. I did not realize at the time that my internet connection was down so apparently the app locked up while trying to open a document that was not on the local hard drive. Yesterday while working in Numbers the app hung up - swirly beach ball - after attempting to open a document in dropbox. I have a M1 MacBook Air with Big Sur and it has been flawless for the past 7 months. Numbers crashing on launch I have seen numerous posts throughout the discussions addressing this same issue - with varying levels of success. This is making me really stressed out, as I use FireAlpaca for all my digital drawings and I even have a commission I was working on.(I'm using macOS Catalina) And yes, I tried opening it from control-clicking it in Finder and still nothing. I am not sure what to do.I have tried seeing if it was because it was from an unidentified developer, but I allowed the Mac to open it and it still didn't work, so I don't think it was because of that. I even tried downloading FireAlpaca again and duplicating the original FireAlpaca file and opening the duplicate, but it does the exact same thing: Every time I try to open it, it opens a folder in Finder that has an "Abort.dat" file in it and a bunch of autosaved files of drawings I was working on. When it came back on, everything was normal, except for the fact that FireAlpaca, the app I use to draw, would not open. So I was watching YouTube on my MacBook Air when all of a sudden the screen went to a colored static screen.
